Chandigarh Administration Conducts Training Workshop on Revised MPLADS Guidelines and Web Solution Implementation

Chandigarh, May 16, 2023 - In an effort to ensure seamless implementation of the revised fund flow procedure under the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS), the Chandigarh Administration organized a training workshop in collaboration with officials from the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI). The workshop also saw the participation of officials from the Punjab state and UT Administration who are involved in MPLADS at both the district and state levels.

The workshop, held recently, aimed to familiarize the attendees with the newly launched web solution designed to implement the revised MPLADS guidelines. MoSPI officials led the training sessions, providing detailed explanations and practical demonstrations to all participants. The hands-on training facilitated a better understanding of the new fund flow procedure, enabling the officials to execute the MPLADS scheme flawlessly.

Also present during the workshop was Shri Amit Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chandigarh.

Shri Vinay Pratap Singh IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Chandigarh, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and emphasized the significance of the workshop in enhancing the understanding and implementation of the revised MPLADS guidelines.
